Eureka:E!4924 REMSIS

The purpose of R&D project REMSIS is the development of remote-controlled system of traffic signalization. The system collects traffic data that are sent to a control centre, where the data are collected and processed. Then the current traffic information on the roads is displayed on mobile traffic signalization displays and light trailers to inform the drivers and other road users.  

The system collects data on vehicle speed, captures images of traffic situations (for example congestions, accidents, driving in the wrong direction on the highway, etc..), counts the traffic, informs about the current weather situation, etc…
