General description
A countdown traffic light head SD300 notifies drivers how much seconds is left of red or green traffic light, respectively. The remaining time is whether red or green, depending on the light that is currently lit on a traffic light.
The device is designed as a supplement to existing traffic lights at junctions and pedestrian crossings. Through isolated RS485 serial port it is connected to a control traffic light device from which it receives all the information necessary for its operation. The brightness automatically adjusts the display according to the external illumination.
